Goal: A lot of Disney studies to boost my drawing skills, and also updates about new games :)

3/13/26: This is how #20 went: Tarzan and the little gorilla were easy to get the gesture, but Jane, not easy.

New doll sitting pose
2/13/26: Next doll with a sitting pose. First I drew the one on the left, and thought she was cute, but awkward. That's why I decided to copy some Disney and give my brain a tune-up :) So now I've drawn the one on the right and she does look better constructed.

Sleeping Beauty Disney Study
2/11/26: I've started a new dress up game, but also have a goal of making 20 of these Disney studies (this is #8)
What measuring distances is all about: for example I sketch the owl with his branch, then add a sketch for the green bird, and they should look proportioned to each other like on the reference. But does the green bird connect with both the owl and the branch like expected? That's the test. Because if the proprtions are wrong, some things connect correctly and some don't.

Little Mermaid Disney Study
2/9/26: Getting the right expression and gesture are definitely a plus, but optional (I find this Ariel looks a bit blank compared to the ref). The main thing I'm trying to practice actually is measuring distances so that my brain can map out shapes and proportions with less effort, then drawing feels way easier.

Jungle Book Disney Study
Bagheera Disney Study
2/6/26

Ariel Disney Study
2/5/26

Jasmine and Abu Disney Study
2/2/26: O wise Sultan ...

Sleeping Beauty Disney Study
1/29/26: multiple characters together is always a challenge!

Jasmine Disney Study
1/28/26: I used the color picker bc I'm concerned with the pose only (adding colors helps with comparing the result to the ref)
